An interesting take on The Theater creepypasta, the old school graphics are a nice touch but some conclusion to the game would have been appriciated, instead of just closing to the desktop. Overall I enjoyed this short take on a classic creepypasta.
The game was pretty good! The fact that my (garbage) computer is able to run it makes me happy. The little jumpscares here and there are decent. The weird static noises did make me feel tense. I just wish that there was more. Like a poster randomly falling on the ground. Or a random scream/whispering behind the character. Going through the loop over and over did feel kinda boring, so maybe have a little bit less of that. Or maybe just add in some little scares/noises here and there. Just so that the player would feel like something is actually happening in the environment. However at the end part of the game was very interesting! I did get scared here and there. Thanks for making an awesome game! Keep up the good work!
Well, two : change the bright eye-searing red color of this site. I was partially color blind after reading that 16 paragraph story.
And two - If you're building a world where this game doesn't exist,. and shouldn't work; then why is it here on Itch.io as a downloadable, working game?
I think your story would work better if you added something like " This is the only working copy found, I cleaned the code up as best as I could to get it to run and install correctly, and uploaded it here to preserve it "
Also Also, the 3D presented in the game is true 3D, which wasn't possible at the time. Only DOOM's fake 3D was around ( and you cite DOOM as a timeline guide ) DOOM is constructed entirely on a 2D flat plane, the game is actually 2D.

As far as story building goes, one suggestion.
